Sport and Recreation works with a wide-range of groups, agencies, industry representatives and governments to achieve its goals. Our partners include:

• Communities
  Sport and Recreation works with community groups to encourage all Queenslanders to participate in physical activity.
• Local government
  Sport and Recreation works with Queensland local governments as they are key stakeholders in sport and recreation, and are major providers of sport and recreation infrastructure in Queensland.
• Queensland Government
  Sport and Recreation has developed strategic alliances with a number of relevant departments which have a significant interest in physical activity, particularly Queensland Health, Queensland Transport, Department of Natural Resources and Education Queensland.
• The Queensland sport and recreation industry
  Sport and Recreation works in partnership with the sport and recreation industry to increase participation levels and, where appropriate, help clubs and associations to enhance their organisational and management skills.
• Commonwealth and other state and territory governments
  Sport and Recreation works with other Australian governments to promote best practice and participates in appropriate joint initiatives that benefit Queensland.
